Thank you to all who showed up at tonight's Pack Night. It was an excellent turnout, and it made for a special night for your sons.
Cub Scouts who participate in at least one Pack activity in each month of the summer (June, July and August), are eligible to receive the National Summertime Pack Award. (Sorry - tonight's meeting does not count - this was actually the May Pack Night which was postponed due to conflicts with other events in the gym).
Please see the attached (which was distributed tonight). It is the schedule of Summertime activities the pack is sponsoring. You will notice that there is at least two events each month. This should give all scouts ample opportunity to earn this award, as well as plenty of opportunity to just have fun. Contact names for each event are also given.
In regards to the Cub Scout Day Camp at North Park Village. The pack must provide three adults minimum on EACH of the three days. Thank you to Mr. Chong, Mrs. Blum, and Mrs. Lasky for agreeing to cover the Wednesday session, and to Mrs. Green, Mr. Lajun, Mr. Rappel, and Mr. Graziano for agreeing to watch the Friday session.
However, we must have 3 adults for the Thursday session, and no one signed up (although 4 signed up for Friday). Please email me back if you can cover that day. Our boys will not be allowed to participate if we do not have the proper adult coverage. ( I am not able to take any days off work personally - I have already used up most of my favors for a while).
