Cub Scout Day Camp Summary

The reports are in, and Pack 3904 thoroughly enjoyed themselves at the "Pirates of the Cubribean" Day Camp, held this past June 22, 23, and 24 at the North Park Nature Center.  With many activities to keep the boys interested, they came home worn out, sun tanned, and mosquito-bitten every day, just as young boys should.  Cubs reported seeing deer and other wildlife, and making plenty of arts and crafts.

A special thank you goes out to our parents who acted as leaders for the Pack. Ms. Emily Blum, Mr. Mike Lajun, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Graziano each gave up a day of their vacation time to spend time with their children and the Pack's children.  

And, lest we forget, an extra-special thank you must go out to Dr. Ed Iglesias (Antonio's dad) who took off 3 days from work to attend each day of the camp!.  (I heard that his medical background even came in handy as at least one boy became ill while there).  It is great to see such dedication from all to promote the ideals of Scouting, and the betterment of all our young boys.

The Pack had seven participants registered this year, out of a Pack of 34.  Hopefully, with enough prior discussion and planning, we will have a much larger turn out at next year's day camp.  This Pack is building and expanding!!
