Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet

February is the anniversary month of Scouting.  On February 10, 1910 the Boy Scouts of America were incorporated.  20 years later, in 1930, the Cub Scouting program was officially organized and added to the program, to allow for the younger members of our society.  So this year we celebrate 103 years of Scouting and 83 years of Cub Scouting.

We celebrate this through our annual "Blue and Gold" banquet.  This year's celebration will take place on Sunday February 10th, from 12:30PM  to 2:30PM in the St. Edward's school gym. All friends and family members are invited.

We will have a potluck dinner.  Each family is asked to bring their favorite dish - a main dish, or a side, or a dessert - whatever you like.  Please bring enough for your family plus 2 extra people.  The Pack will provide all the plates, utensils, and drinks. There will be electrical outlets available for slow cookers if necessary.   We have done this format for several years, and it works out great.

After our meal, we will have several presentations, including one on Cub Scout Day Camp, and some awards ceremonies.  Pinewood Derby Kit cars will also be distributed.  The day will finish off with a surprise entertainment feature (we are keeping that under wraps for now!)
