OK - I have been corrected - St. Ed's kids are in school until June 8th, but that does not affect the Pack Night - it will be held on Friday June 1st, 2012 - 7PM in the School Gym.

Subject: PACK SHOUT OUT - THIS THURSDAY'S PACK NIGHT POSTPONED!!!!

Due to many conflicts with schedules with our scouts, and with our leaders, including several of our leaders who will be occupied, as part of their jobs, with the upcoming NATO Summit, we have made the decision to postpone this month's Pack Night.  There were simply too many people who were informing us that they could not be there, or that they would need to leave early due to it being a school night.  We apologize for any inconveniences.

The new night has been confirmed and a room reserved for Friday June 1st, at 7PM in the school gym.  Those scouts attending Catholic Schools should have ended school by that time, the public school scouts will have one or two more weeks, but will be winding down.  This will also give our leadership enough time to prepare proper ceremonies celebrating all that our youth have done.

This will be a VERY important meeting, as we will be having ceremonies for each rank and for each crossover.  Please make every effort to attend, and please communicate with your son's Den Leaders in advance as to whether there are any elective awards they should be earning.

Mark your calenders also for Friday June 15th at 7PM - On that night we will still hold our regular June Pack Night.  This will be an all fun night of PINBALL!!  It will also serve as a Recruitment Night for new Scouts, and we will have an Ice Cream Social to end the evening.

Subject: PACK SHOUT OUT - PACK NIGHT - THIS THURSDAY MAY 17TH 2012

Pack 3904's May Pack Night will take place this upcoming THURSDAY, MAY 17TH, 2012 at 7PM in the school gym.  PLEASE NOTE THE DAY CHANGE!!   This was done due to a conflict with Gallery 43.

This is one of our most important Pack Nights of the year - On the program will be our Awards ceremonies and crossover ceremonies for (hopefully all) of our Cubs.  We will also have a representative from the Chicago Area Council present to discuss some important matters.  At the behest of several parents, this meeting will begin promptly at 7PM and will be kept as brief as possible, since Friday is a school day for our scouts.

Please make every effort to be there with your family, as it is important for our Scouts to be recognized for the hard work they have done throughout the past year.

And, though the school year is coming to a close, there is no such thing in Scouting.  It is YEAR ROUND.  Many events have been planned, or are in the planning stages, for an active summer program.  Details on these will be discussed Thursday also.

We will strive our best to keep the OUTING in ScOUTING!!
