CUB SCOUT FAMILY PICNIC RECAP

A special thank you  is extended to Steve and Tarin Kendrick for setting up the Cub Scout Family Picnic today.  It was obvious that a lot of work went into planning this, and everything went off without a hitch.  Even the weather was as perfect as we could ask for.  (Imagine if we had chosen yesterday as the day for the picnic!).  Everyone was very happy with the location chosen, and people are already asking to go back there for next year's picnic.

Approximately 35 people were in attendance from 10 different families.  Good times were had by all.  Thank-you to Emily Carlson for providing games for the kids to play (who would have ever realized the amount of fun to be had by a parachute?)

Now, I, in an absent minded moment, left paperwork at home that I intended to bring to the picnic.  If anyone took attendance, or can at least remember who attended, please email to me under a separate header (don't hit reply-all) with the names of whomever you can remember.  We need this for credit towards the Summertime Pack award.

I will email the schedule for the year (which should have been passed out today) under a separate letter.
